What is the hardest yoga workout?
Once you have been doing yoga for a while and can do just about every pose in every class without fear of hurting yourself, it may be safe to raise the difficultly level of the type of yoga you are doing. This can be done in a number of different ways.
First, you can start doing harder poses. There are a vast number of poses in yoga and a number of revered as some of the hardest to do, requiring real expertise and strength.
Second, you can start doing yoga in a warmer environment. This is often known as ‘hot yoga’ where the overall temperature in the room where you are doing yoga is raised, causing you to sweat more and get a better yoga workout. This can obviously lead to dehydration if you don’t drink enough water and the room gets too hot.
Ultimately it won’t be too difficult to get an excellent yoga workout if that’s what you set out to do.
